Cancellation
We understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. In our desire to be effective and fair to all clients, the following policies are honored:
Twenty-four (24) hour advance notice is required when canceling an appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment. If you are unable to give us Twenty-four (24) hours advance notice you will be charged the full amount of your appointment. This amount must be paid prior to your next scheduled appointment.
No-shows
Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment for whatever reason will be considered a “no-show.” They will be charged for their “missed” appointment.
Late Arrivals
If you arrive late, your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Depending upon how late you arrive, your therapist will then determine if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for the “full” session. Out of respect and consideration to your therapist and other customers, please plan accordingly and be on time.
Sickness
Massage/bodywork is not appropriate care for infectious or contagious illness. Please cancel your appointment as soon as you are aware of an infectious or contagious condition. If it is within the 24-hour notice period, the cancellation fee may be waived. If this office is providing billing services, please be advised of our billing policies. We do not bill insurance companies for missed appointments or late cancellations. You are responsible for paying the missed appointment/late cancellation fees.
Shots, Vaccinations or Health Changes
If you have and any kind of shots, vaccinations, health conditions or surgeries within thirty (30) days of your appointment, please let your therapist know.
Returned Checks
If your check payment is returned to us by the bank for any reason, you must pay the amount returned plus a $35.00 returned check fee. If returned checks are not paid off in full along with the $35.00 fee within 14 days, additional fees will apply.
